Overview of the medicine
Alleloc 0.1% Eye Drop is an anti-allergic medication containing Olopatadine Hydrochloride. It is used to relieve eye itching and redness caused by allergic conjunctivitis.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, approximately 6 to 8 hours apart.
Elderly
No dosage adjustment is necessary.
Renal_impairment

How to Take
For ophthalmic use only. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface. Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting.
Mechanism of Action
Olopatadine is a selective H1-receptor antagonist and a mast cell stabilizer. It inhibits histamine release from mast cells and blocks H1-receptors, thereby preventing and relieving allergic symptoms like itching and redness in the eyes.
