Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
300 mg IV or IM, every 6-8 hours, not exceeding 1200 mg/day. Administer IV infusion slowly over 15-30 minutes.
Elderly
Lower doses may be required due to decreased renal or hepatic function. Close monitoring is recommended.
Renal_impairment
Dose reduction or extended dosing interval may be necessary. Avoid in severe renal impairment.
How to Take
For intravenous administration, Amidol 300 mg should be diluted and infused slowly over 15-30 minutes. For intramuscular administration, inject deep into a large muscle mass. Must be administered by a healthcare professional.
Mechanism of Action
