Anastrol 1 mg tablet contains Anastrozole, a potent and selective non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It is used in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive early and advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women.

Dosage
Adults
1 mg orally once daily.
Elderly
No dosage adjustment required.
Renal_impairment
No dosage adjustment required for mild to moderate renal impairment. Use with caution in severe impairment.
How to Take
Taken orally, with or without food, at approximately the same time each day.
Mechanism of Action
Anastrozole selectively inhibits aromatase, an enzyme that converts androgens into estrogens. By reducing estrogen levels, it slows the growth of hormone-sensitive breast cancer cells.
