Overview of the medicine
Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with marked anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
100 mg twice daily, with or without food.
Elderly
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment; dose adjustment may be necessary in severe impairment.
How to Take
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew.
Mechanism of Action
Aceclofenac inhibits the activity of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.

Within 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Excretion
Excreted mainly in urine as glucuronide conjugates.

Approximately 4 hours.

Rapidly and completely absorbed after oral administration.
