Arbium 10 mg Tablet is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic used for the short-term treatment of insomnia and anxiety.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
10 mg orally once daily before bedtime for insomnia; 5 mg twice daily for anxiety.
Elderly
5 mg orally once daily before bedtime, consider dose reduction.
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment needed for mild to moderate impairment; caution advised for severe impairment.
How to Take
Take orally with or without food. For insomnia, take immediately before going to bed.
Mechanism of Action
Arbium selectively binds to GABA-A receptors, enhancing GABAergic neurotransmission, leading to sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic, and muscle relaxant effects.
