Ariflu Nasal Spray contains Azelastine Hydrochloride, an antihistamine, used to relieve seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and itchy nose.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 2 sprays per nostril twice daily.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment required for elderly.

How to Take
For intranasal use only. Prime the pump before first use or if not used for more than 3 days. Blow nose to clear nostrils. Tilt head forward slightly, insert nozzle into nostril, and spray while sniffing gently. Repeat for the other nostril. Avoid spraying into eyes.
Mechanism of Action
Azelastine is a phthalazinone derivative that exhibits potent H1-receptor antagonist properties and also has mast cell stabilizing and anti-inflammatory effects. It inhibits the release of histamine and other mediators involved in allergic reactions.
