Nystatin is a polyene antifungal antibiotic that works by binding to sterols in the fungal cell membrane, primarily ergosterol. This disrupts the membrane integrity, leading to leakage of essential intracellular components and ultimately cell death.

• •Hypersensitivity to Triamcinolone Acetonide, Nystatin, or any other component of the cream.
• •Primary cutaneous viral infections (e.g., herpes simplex, varicella).
• •Tuberculosis of the skin, acne rosacea, perioral dermatitis.
• •Primary bacterial or fungal infections without significant inflammatory component.

Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Systemic overdose is unlikely with topical application. However, prolonged or excessive use, especially on large surface areas, occluded skin, or in children, can lead to systemic corticosteroid effects (e.g., Cushing's syndrome, adrenal suppression). Management involves gradual withdrawal of the drug and supportive therapy.

Pregnancy Category C. Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Avoid application to large surface areas or for prolonged periods. For breastfeeding mothers, use with caution. Do not apply to the breast area to prevent ingestion by the infant.
