Description
Overview of the medicine
The B.Well PRO-35 is an automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor designed for accurate and comfortable home blood pressure and pulse rate measurement. It features arrhythmia detection, Intellisense technology for comfortable inflation, and a memory function for tracking readings. It helps in the early detection of heart rhythm disorders and ensures precise measurements.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Used by adults for self-monitoring of blood pressure and pulse rate as advised by a healthcare professional or as needed.
Elderly
Suitable for elderly individuals for regular monitoring, ensuring comfortable cuff fit.
Renal_impairment
Not applicable; device measures, does not treat any condition. Safe for use in individuals with renal impairment.
How to Take
Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measurement. Wrap the cuff snugly around the upper arm, above the elbow, ensuring the air tube is centrally located. Rest the arm on a flat surface with the cuff at heart level. Press the 'Start' button to begin measurement. Do not speak or move during the measurement.
Mechanism of Action
Utilizes the oscillometric method of measurement. The device inflates a cuff around the upper arm, then slowly deflates, detecting arterial wall oscillations caused by blood flow and converting them into blood pressure readings (systolic, diastolic) and pulse rate. It is a diagnostic tool and does not act on physiological systems like drugs.
