Shake the bottle gently before each use. Prime the pump before the first use or if it has not been used for several days. Tilt head slightly forward, insert nozzle into one nostril, closing the other, and spray while sniffing gently. Repeat for the other nostril. Avoid spraying into the eyes. Clean the nozzle after use.

Beclomethasone Dipropionate is a potent glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictive properties. It acts by reducing the formation, release, and activity of endogenous mediators of inflammation (e.g., prostaglandins, histamine, leukotrienes) and inhibits the migration of inflammatory cells (e.g., eosinophils, mast cells) into the nasal mucosa.

Acute overdose with nasal beclomethasone is unlikely due to the low amount of active ingredient per spray and limited systemic absorption. Chronic overdose or use of higher than recommended doses may lead to systemic corticosteroid effects, including adrenal suppression. Management involves gradually reducing the dose under medical supervision.

Use during pregnancy and lactation should only be considered if the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or infant. Consult a doctor. Due to minimal systemic absorption, the risk to the fetus/infant is considered low.
