Betavate-CL Ointment is a combination medication used to treat inflammatory skin conditions, such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis, that are complicated by secondary bacterial or fungal infections. It combines a potent corticosteroid (Betamethasone Valerate) to reduce inflammation and itching, with an anti-infective agent (Clioquinol) to combat bacterial and fungal pathogens.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician. Treatment should not exceed 7 days without medical review.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment is generally required, but caution is advised in elderly patients, especially with extensive use due to potential for increased absorption.

How to Take
