Brindin-1-02 Suspension is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the relief of mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
10-20 ml (200-400 mg) every 4-6 hours as needed. Maximum 80 ml (1600 mg) per day.
Elderly
Start with lower doses and monitor renal function. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution; dose reduction may be required based on creatinine clearance. Consult a physician.
How to Take
Shake the bottle well before each use. Take with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal upset. Use the provided measuring cup or spoon for accurate dosing.
Mechanism of Action
Inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis.

Side Effects
Contraindications

Drug Interactions
Lithium
Increased plasma lithium levels.
Methotrexate
Increased methotrexate toxicity.
ACE inhibitors/Diuretics
Reduced antihypertensive effect and increased risk of renal impairment.
Anticoagulants (e.g., Warfarin)
Increased risk of bleeding.
Storage
Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not freeze.
Overdose
Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, lethargy, dizziness, and sometimes gastrointestinal bleeding. Management involves gastric lavage, activated charcoal, and symptomatic and supportive treatment. There is no specific antidote.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy due to potential for premature closure of the fetal ductus arteriosus. Use with caution during early pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed and benefits outweigh risks.
