Cinon is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the relief of mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
200 mg to 400 mg every 4-6 hours as needed. Maximum 1200 mg per day.
Elderly
Start with the lowest effective dose and monitor for adverse effects.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution; dose adjustment may be necessary in severe cases.
How to Take
Take orally with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal upset.
Mechanism of Action
Cinon works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever.

Side Effects
Contraindications

Drug Interactions
Lithium
Increased lithium plasma levels.
Warfarin
Increased risk of bleeding.
Diuretics
Reduced diuretic effect and increased risk of renal impairment.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose
Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, lethargy, drowsiness. Management involves symptomatic and supportive care. Gastric lavage or activated charcoal may be considered if recent ingestion.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Avoid during the third trimester of pregnancy. Use with caution during first and second trimesters and lactation, only if clearly needed and under medical supervision.
