Covikil-200 mg Tablet is an antiviral medication used for the prevention and treatment of various viral infections, especially respiratory tract infections. It works by inhibiting the virus's ability to replicate.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initial dose 400 mg (2 tablets), then 200 mg (1 tablet) every 12 hours for 5-10 days.
Elderly
Generally same as adult dosage, but dose adjustment may be required with monitoring of renal or hepatic function.
Renal_impairment
Dose adjustment may be necessary in severe renal impairment; consult a doctor.
How to Take
Can be taken with or without food. The tablet should be swallowed whole, not chewed or crushed.
