Overview of the medicine
Decalor Eye Drop is a corticosteroid medication used to reduce inflammation and irritation in the eyes. It is available in 0.1% and 0.5% concentrations.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 2-4 times daily, or as directed by physician. For severe cases, frequency may be increased.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment required, use with caution.

How to Take
For ophthalmic use only. Shake well before use. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface.
Mechanism of Action
Decalor acts by inhibiting phospholipase A2, thereby preventing the release of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. It stabilizes lysosomal membranes and inhibits macrophage accumulation.
