Dilinda 300 mcg Inhalation Capsule is a long-acting bronchodilator used for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to relieve symptoms and improve lung function. It is administered via an inhaler device.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
One 300 mcg capsule inhaled once daily using the appropriate inhaler device.
Elderly
No dosage adjustment is required in elderly patients.
Renal_impairment
No dosage adjustment is necessary for patients with renal impairment.
How to Take
Dilinda capsules are for oral inhalation only and must be used with the specific inhaler device provided. Do not swallow the capsule. Follow the instructions for use provided with the inhaler.
Mechanism of Action
Dilinda acts as a selective long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA) that stimulates beta2-receptors in the bronchial smooth muscles, leading to bronchodilation. This relaxes the muscles of the airways, helping them to open and making breathing easier.

Side Effects
Contraindications
- •Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
- •Not for use in acute bronchospasm or for acute exacerbations of COPD.
Drug Interactions
Beta-blockers
May reduce the effect of Dilinda. Non-cardioselective beta-blockers should generally be avoided.
MAOIs, tricyclic antidepressants
May potentiate the effect of Dilinda on the cardiovascular system.
Diuretics (non-potassium sparing)
May potentiate hypokalemia.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose include tachycardia, tremors, palpitations, headache, and hypokalemia. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. It is unknown whether Dilinda is excreted in human milk. Exercise caution when administered to a nursing mother.
