Durazol 200 mg Suspension contains Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic, used to treat various bacterial infections like respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and sexually transmitted diseases.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
For certain STDs, 25 ml (1000 mg) as a single dose; for respiratory infections, 12.5 ml (500 mg) once daily for 3 days.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment generally required, but caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment needed for mild to moderate renal impairment (CrCl > 10 mL/min).
How to Take
Oral administration. Can be taken with or without food. Shake well before use. Use the provided measuring device.
