E-max-Mups 20 mg tablet contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, used to reduce stomach acid production and treat conditions like GERD and ulcers.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Typically 20-40 mg once daily. For GERD, 20-40 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment generally needed.

How to Take
Orally, preferably 30-60 minutes before a meal. MUPS tablets can be dispersed in water or juice.
Mechanism of Action
Inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, thereby reducing gastric acid secretion.
