Uses & Indications
Dosage

How to Take
Take orally with a glass of water, preferably after meals to minimize gastrointestinal upset. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Mechanism of Action
Fapicitin Hydrochloride works by inhibiting specific cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, primarily COX-2, leading to reduced prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting its analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects. It also has a central pain modulation effect.

30-60 minutes
Excretion
Mainly excreted via urine (60-70%) and feces (20-30%) as metabolites and some unchanged drug.
Half life
3-5 hours
Absorption
Rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract; bioavailability is approximately 80-90%.
Metabolism
Primarily metabolized in the liver via CYP450 enzymes (e.g., CYP2C9 and CYP3A4) into inactive metabolites.
