Description
Overview of the medicine
Flogem 320 mg tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and fever. It works by reducing the production of certain natural substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Oral: 320 mg to 640 mg, 2-3 times daily, preferably after food. Max 1920 mg/day.

Lower doses may be required, monitor renal function. Consult physician.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution; dose adjustment may be necessary. Not recommended in severe impairment.
How to Take
Take the tablet orally, preferably with food or milk, to minimize gastrointestinal upset. Swallow whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.
Mechanism of Action
Flogem acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, which are responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. Prostaglandins mediate inflammation, pain, and fever.
