Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initial dose is usually 1-2 mg once daily with breakfast or the first main meal. May be increased to a maximum of 8 mg once daily based on glycemic response.
Elderly
Start with a lower initial dose of 1 mg once daily and titrate carefully to avoid hypoglycemia.
Renal_impairment
Initial dose of 1 mg once daily, with careful monitoring of renal function and blood glucose levels. Dosage adjustment may be required.
How to Take
Glimitus-4 mg tablet should be taken orally once daily with breakfast or the first main meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.
