Take the tablet orally with a glass of water, with or without food. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel better.

Hipomax acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It binds to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located in the bacterial cell wall, which prevents the cross-linking of peptidoglycan units, leading to cell wall disruption and bacterial death.

• •Hypersensitivity to Hipomax or any other cephalosporin antibiotics.
• •History of severe hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., anaphylaxis) to any other beta-lactam antibiotic (e.g., penicillins).

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

In case of overdose, symptomatic and supportive treatment should be initiated. Gastric lavage may be considered if ingestion is recent. Hemodialysis is not generally effective in removing Hipomax from the body.

Pregnancy Category B. Use with caution during pregnancy if clearly needed. Excreted in breast milk in small amounts; use with caution during lactation. Consult a doctor.
