For ophthalmic use only. Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid, and instill one drop into the conjunctival sac. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to the eye or any other surface.

Ketotifen is a relatively selective, non-competitive H1-receptor antagonist and mast cell stabilizer. It inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators such as histamine from mast cells, thereby reducing allergic reactions.

Store at controlled room temperature (15°C to 25°C or 59°F to 77°F). Protect from light. Do not freeze.

Ocular overdose is unlikely to lead to significant systemic effects. If accidentally ingested, standard measures to remove unabsorbed drug should be considered.

Pregnancy Category C. Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. It is not known whether ketotifen is excreted in human breast milk; caution should be exercised when administered to a nursing mother.
