Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initial dose is 100 mg orally once daily. May be increased to 200-300 mg once daily based on response and tolerability, with a maximum recommended dose of 300 mg/day.
Elderly
Start with a lower dose (e.g., 50 mg once daily) and titrate slowly, monitoring for adverse effects.
Renal_impairment
Dosage adjustment is necessary for patients with impaired renal function. Reduce dose based on creatinine clearance (CrCl) as per physician's advice.
How to Take
Take Lardon-TR capsule orally, once daily, with or without food. Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush, chew, or open it.
