Levofloxacin is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial agent of the fluoroquinolone class. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
500 mg once daily for 7-14 days depending on the infection.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment usually required unless renal impairment is present.

Dosage adjustment is required based on creatinine clearance.
How to Take
Orally, with or without food. Should be swallowed whole with water.
Mechanism of Action
