M-beg (Mebeverine Hydrochloride) is an antispasmodic medicine used to relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other related conditions, such as abdominal pain and cramps, persistent diarrhoea, and flatulence. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the gut.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
One 135 mg tablet three times a day, preferably 20 minutes before meals.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment is required, but caution is advised in frail elderly patients.

No specific dosage adjustment is required for mild to moderate renal impairment. Use with caution in severe impairment.
How to Take
Oral. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, preferably 20 minutes before meals. Do not chew or crush.
