Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
For tablets: 135 mg three times daily, preferably 20 minutes before meals. For prolonged-release capsules: 200 mg twice daily, preferably 20 minutes before meals.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment is generally required, but caution is advised in elderly patients with significant co-morbidities.
Renal_impairment
No specific dose adjustment required for mild to moderate renal impairment. Caution with severe impairment.
How to Take
Meverine tablets should be swallowed whole with water, preferably 20 minutes before meals. Prolonged-release capsules should also be swallowed whole, not chewed or crushed.
