For intranasal use only. Shake well before each use. Prime the pump before first use or if not used for a long time. Clear nasal passages before administration. Tilt head slightly forward and insert nozzle into nostril, spray while inhaling gently. Repeat for other nostril.

Mometasone furoate is a potent glucocorticoid that binds to glucocorticoid receptors, leading to transcription of anti-inflammatory genes and inhibition of pro-inflammatory mediators (e.g., prostaglandins, leukotrienes, cytokines). This results in reduced inflammation and allergic responses in the nasal passages.

Store below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Acute overdose is unlikely to cause severe effects due to low systemic absorption. Chronic overdose or misuse can lead to hypercorticism or adrenal suppression, especially with prolonged high-dose use. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

Pregnancy Category C. Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Caution advised during lactation as corticosteroids are excreted in breast milk, though systemic absorption from nasal spray is low.
