Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Typically 10 mg/70 kg IV, IM, or SC, may be repeated every 3-6 hours as needed.
Elderly
Reduced doses should be considered for elderly patients.

Dosage reduction or extended dosing intervals may be necessary in patients with renal impairment.

Mechanism of Action
