Nopath 100 mg Tablet is a novel analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication designed to provide relief from various types of pain and reduce inflammation. It acts by selectively targeting specific pain pathways, offering effective pain management.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
100 mg once or twice daily, as directed by physician. Maximum daily dose 200 mg.
Elderly
Lower doses may be considered, starting with 50 mg once daily, adjusted based on response and tolerability.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution. Dosage reduction may be necessary in moderate to severe impairment. Avoid in severe renal failure.
How to Take
Administer orally with water, preferably with food to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.
Mechanism of Action
Nopath selectively inhibits the 'Nocipathway-1' receptor, preventing the transmission of pain signals to the central nervous system and reducing the production of inflammatory mediators at the site of injury or inflammation.

Side Effects
Contraindications

Drug Interactions
Lithium
May increase plasma lithium levels.
Diuretics
May reduce the natriuretic effect of diuretics.
Other NSAIDs
Concomitant use with other NSAIDs may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Anticoagulants
May increase the risk of bleeding.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, and dizziness. Gastric lavage and supportive care are recommended.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use during pregnancy is not recommended, especially in the third trimester. Consult a doctor before use during lactation.
