Norline (Norethisterone) is a synthetic progestogen primarily used in hormone replacement therapy, contraception, and treatment of various menstrual disorders like dysfunctional uterine bleeding, amenorrhea, and endometriosis.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
For dysfunctional uterine bleeding: 5-10 mg daily for 10 days. For amenorrhea: 5-10 mg daily for 5-10 days, usually after estrogen priming. For endometriosis: 10 mg daily for 6-9 months.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustments, but caution in patients with hepatic impairment.

How to Take
Oral administration, preferably with food to reduce gastrointestinal upset. Should be taken at the same time each day.
