Remove the protective tab and screw the needle onto the pen injector. Remove the outer and inner needle caps. Prime the pen if necessary. Inject the medication into the subcutaneous tissue as directed by your healthcare professional. After injection, carefully remove the needle and dispose of it in a sharps container.
