A mechanical pen injector designed to hold 3 mL insulin cartridges (Penfill®) and deliver insulin subcutaneously in precise, user-selected 1-unit increments with an audible click. It functions by pushing a plunger that expels insulin from the cartridge through a needle.

• •Do not use with non-Novo Nordisk Penfill® 3 mL insulin cartridges or non-compatible needles.
• •Do not use if you are allergic to any materials of the device (extremely rare).

Store at room temperature (below 30°C/86°F), protect from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and dust. Do not store your NovoPen® 4 with a needle attached. Keep out of reach of children.

An overdose would be due to too much insulin, not the device itself. Manage according to insulin overdose protocols (e.g., administering glucose for hypoglycemia).
