Benzalic is a topical gel formulated for the relief of mild to moderate muscular aches, sprains, strains, and joint pain. It provides localized pain relief and helps reduce inflammation.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area 2-3 times daily, massaging gently until absorbed.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage.
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment required due to minimal systemic absorption.
How to Take
For external use only. Wash hands before and after application. Apply a small amount to the skin over the painful area and gently rub it in.
Mechanism of Action
Benzalic is believed to exert its effects by local counter-irritation, increasing blood flow to the affected area, and through mild inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, leading to localized analgesic and anti-inflammatory actions.
