Polygel-04-03 Eye Drop is an ophthalmic gel formulation containing polyacrylic acid, designed to provide long-lasting relief from dry eye symptoms by lubricating the eye surface and stabilizing the tear film.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) 3-4 times daily, or as needed.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage.
Renal_impairment
No dosage adjustment required.
How to Take
For ophthalmic use only. Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid, and instill drop into the conjunctival sac. Avoid touching the tip to the eye or any other surface.
Mechanism of Action
Polyacrylic acid forms a mucomimetic film over the corneal surface, increasing tear film stability and viscosity, thereby protecting the eye from dryness and irritation.
