Dosage
Adults
150-600 mg per day in two or three divided doses
Elderly
Lower initial dose may be necessary

How to Take
Can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole, do not chew or crush.
Mechanism of Action
Pregabalin binds to the alpha2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing calcium influx and the release of excitatory neurotransmitters.
