Reflon 500 mg Tablet is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections. It is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Note: This is a hypothetical drug for demonstration purposes.

Dosage
Adults
500 mg once daily or 250 mg twice daily, depending on the severity and type of infection. Duration usually 7-14 days.

How to Take
Take Reflon 500 mg Tablet orally with a glass of water, with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Mechanism of Action
Refloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes involved in bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. This leads to bacterial cell death.

Theophylline

Corticosteroids
Increased risk of tendinopathy and tendon rupture.
Antacids (containing aluminum, magnesium, or calcium)
Can reduce Refloxacin absorption. Take Refloxacin 2 hours before or 6 hours after antacids.
