Overview of the medicine
Restovit-5mg syrup contains Cyproheptadine which is an antihistamine with additional appetite stimulating properties. It is used to treat allergic conditions and to stimulate appetite.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Typically 4 mg (1 measuring spoonful or 5 ml) three times daily. Max dose 0.5 mg/kg/day.
Elderly
Lower initial doses are recommended, adjusted according to response and tolerability.

Use with caution; dosage adjustment may be necessary due to renal excretion of metabolites.
How to Take
Take orally, with or without food. Can be taken at bedtime due to sedative effects.
