Description
Overview of the medicine
Sarcet 10 mg Tablet contains Saroglitazar, a dual PPAR alpha/gamma agonist used in the management of diabetic dyslipidemia, Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus or dyslipidemia.
Uses & Indications

How to Take
Take orally, once daily, preferably before breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break.
Mechanism of Action
Saroglitazar acts as a dual agonist of Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptors (PPAR) alpha and gamma. Activation of PPAR-alpha improves lipid metabolism by reducing triglycerides and increasing HDL cholesterol. Activation of PPAR-gamma improves insulin sensitivity and helps control blood glucose levels. This dual action contributes to its beneficial effects on both lipid and glucose metabolism.
