Description
Overview of the medicine
Bioderma Sébium Kerato+ is a high-tolerance anti-blemish gel-cream designed for acne-prone skin. It targets blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples, reducing existing blemishes and preventing new ones. Formulated with Salicylic Acid and Malic Acid, it gently exfoliates, refines skin texture, and reduces post-acne marks without irritating the skin. It also contains the Fluidactiv™ patent to biologically regulate sebum quality.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Apply to clean, dry skin once or twice daily. For adults and adolescents.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage.
Renal_impairment
No specific dosage adjustment needed as it's a topical product with minimal systemic absorption.
How to Take
Apply a small amount evenly to cleansed and dry skin, avoiding the eye contour area. Can be used alone or before a moisturizer.
Mechanism of Action
Malic Acid (AHA) and Salicylic Acid (BHA) work synergistically to exfoliate the skin's surface and deep cleanse pores, preventing blockages. The Fluidactiv™ patent biologically regulates sebum quality, preventing it from oxidizing and causing new blemishes. It also has a mattifying effect and reduces inflammation.
