Not indicated for adults in this pediatric drop formulation. For children <2 years: 20 mg (0.3 ml) orally 4 times daily. For children 2-12 years: 40 mg (0.6 ml) orally 4 times daily. Administer after meals and at bedtime.

How to Take

Mechanism of Action
Simethicone is an antifoaming agent that reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, causing them to coalesce into larger bubbles that are more easily passed or absorbed. It does not prevent the formation of gas, but facilitates its elimination.
