For external use only. Apply a thin film to the affected skin areas once daily. Gently rub in until the medicine disappears. Do not use occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician. Avoid contact with eyes.

Mometasone Furoate, a corticosteroid, diffuses across cell membranes and binds to specific cytoplasmic receptors. This complex then enters the nucleus, binds to DNA, and modifies gene expression, leading to the synthesis of proteins that inhibit the release of inflammatory mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. It also induces lipocortins, which inhibit phospholipase A2.

Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Prolonged use of excessive amounts of topical corticosteroids can suppress hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis function, leading to secondary adrenal insufficiency. Symptoms may include Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia, and glucosuria. Management involves gradual withdrawal of the drug and symptomatic treatment.

Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Avoid extensive use or prolonged treatment. Use with caution during lactation, as it is not known whether topical corticosteroids are excreted in human milk. Avoid applying to the breast area.
