Description
Overview of the medicine
Stimulin 1 mg Tablet is a central nervous system stimulant primarily used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It helps improve focus, attention, and reduce impulsivity in ADHD, and manage excessive daytime sleepiness in narcolepsy.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
For ADHD: Initially 1 mg once daily, adjusted based on response up to a maximum of 5 mg/day. For Narcolepsy: 1-2 mg once or twice daily, adjusted as needed.
Elderly
Use with caution; lower initial doses may be required. Monitor for cardiovascular effects.
Renal_impairment
No specific dose adjustment guidelines; use with caution. Consider lower doses if severe impairment.
How to Take
Take Stimulin 1 mg Tablet orally, usually in the morning with or without food. Avoid taking it late in the day to prevent sleep disturbances.
