Overview of the medicine
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in patients 55 years or older at high risk of developing major cardiovascular events.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Usually 40-80 mg once daily.
Elderly
