Drug Interactions
Warfarin
May increase prothrombin time (INR) with concurrent use. Monitor coagulation parameters.
Nifedipine
May increase cefixime peak plasma concentrations and AUC.
Probenecid
May increase cefixime plasma concentrations by inhibiting renal excretion.
Carbamazepine
Elevated carbamazepine levels have been reported with concurrent cefixime use.
Storage
Store dry powder below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. After reconstitution, store in a refrigerator (2-8°C) and discard any unused portion after the specified period.
