Uses & Indications

Initial dose 50 mg once daily, usually in the morning. May be increased to a maximum of 200 mg daily based on response and tolerability. Doses above 100 mg daily may be divided.

How to Take
Vorinox 50 mg Tablet should be taken orally, once daily, with or without food. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day, preferably in the morning.
Mechanism of Action
Vorisetin selectively inhibits the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) into the presynaptic neuron, thereby increasing the concentration of 5-HT in the synaptic cleft. This leads to enhanced serotonergic neurotransmission and subsequent improvement in mood and anxiety symptoms.

Excretion
Primarily excreted via urine (approximately 60%) and feces (approximately 40%) as metabolites.
Half life
Approximately 20-30 hours.
Absorption
Well absorbed orally, peak plasma concentrations typically reached within 4-8 hours.
Metabolism
Extensively metabolized in the liver, primarily by CYP2D6 and CYP3A4, to inactive metabolites.
