Uses & Indications

Renal_impairment
Dosage adjustment is necessary. Start with lower doses and monitor renal function.
How to Take
Taken orally with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal upset.
Mechanism of Action
Inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, leading to reduced prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects.

Pain relief usually starts within 30-60 minutes.
Excretion
Primarily excreted in the urine as metabolites, with a small amount excreted in feces.
Half life
Approximately 6-7 hours.

Extensively metabolized in the liver, primarily via glucuronidation and hydroxylation.
