Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measurement. Wrap the cuff around the bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above the elbow, ensuring it's snug but not too tight. Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Press the start button and remain still until measurement is complete.

Uses the oscillometric method to detect blood pressure. The cuff inflates to compress the brachial artery, then slowly deflates, detecting arterial wall vibrations to calculate systolic and diastolic pressures and pulse rate.
