Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Adults and adolescents: 10-20 mg (1-2 teaspoonfuls) daily, or as directed by physician. Children (6 months to 12 years): 10 mg (1 teaspoonful) daily for 10-14 days for acute diarrhea. For other deficiencies, consult physician.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage, or as directed by physician.
Renal_impairment
No specific dose adjustment for mild to moderate impairment; caution with severe impairment.
How to Take
Oral. Can be taken with or after meals to reduce gastric irritation.
