Zisulmet 10 mg syrup is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions such as hay fever, conjunctivitis, and skin rashes.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
10 mg once daily.
Elderly
5 mg once daily; adjust based on renal function.
Renal_impairment
5 mg every other day for moderate impairment; contra-indicated in severe impairment.
How to Take
To be taken orally, with or without food. Use a measuring spoon or cup for accurate dosing.
Mechanism of Action
Zisulmet selectively antagonizes peripheral H1 receptors, thereby inhibiting the effects of histamine and reducing allergic symptoms.
