Anodyne-01-Eye-Drop is an ophthalmic solution designed to provide temporary relief from minor eye irritation, discomfort, and itching. It acts as a local anodyne, soothing the affected eye area.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage. No specific dose adjustment required.
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment required due to minimal systemic absorption.
How to Take
For ophthalmic use only. Wash hands before use. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid to form a pouch. Squeeze the bottle gently to instill drops. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any other surface. Close eye gently for a few seconds.
Mechanism of Action
This eye drop works by locally blocking nerve impulses in the eye, reducing the sensation of pain, irritation, and discomfort. Its soothing agents help to calm the ocular surface.
